Meet the owners

Palazzo Daniele is a hospitality project born by the combination of the vision of Italian entrepreneur Gabriele Salini, and Francesco Petrucci, the last descendent of Daniele’s family and owner of Palazzo Daniele.
The passions shared between the two friends and the similarities between their “homes” made this new story possible.
Gabriele Salini, after the success of his first property G-rough (based in Rome), decided to create an Italian hotel collection, “GS Collection”, bringing together art, design, history and music to redefine the idea of Italian hospitality. Honoring the originality and uniqueness of each property, each unique hotel will be a “spot” with an individual personality and an authentic story connected to each city and place.
Francesco Petrucci, last descendent of Daniele’s family, belongs to an aristocratic family that has always lived in the Palazzo.
After a few years abroad in the world of law, he decided to return to his roots bringing a bit of his experience. He founded Capo D’Arte, a non profit contemporary art exhibition that brought together the entire town of Gagliano Del Capo, from townhouses, to chapels, to an abandoned train and a Piazza.
Artists like Yang Fudom and Michelangelo Pistoletto have participated. The exhibition was so successful that it has become an annual event, bringing together some of the most well known artists from around the world. This time of year, Palazzo Daniele, becomes the headquarter for the event.
